About the Artist

As founder and Creative Director of Doodlisms™, design, painting, poetry
and, prose has always filled Carina’s world.  Her art inspiration comes from
a myriad of visual touchstones, such as shapes, colors, and textures, that
emerge as whimsical creatures and flowers. Once freed from pen and brush,
they take on a life of their own.

Working mainly in watercolor and ink she says, "Doodlisms is my playful
spirit at large, and offers joy, inspiration, and encouragement with a dash
of humor, in a world that is too often too quick to dampen our spirits.
My art and words are borne from a place seeking flight for the human heart
— light-filled, whimsical, at times unexpected."
